GSA – General Sales Agent

Reviewing and managing Partnership Campaigns with Global Consortia Partners and Travel Management Companies (Corporate) 

 

Targeting key Virtuoso Agents for Top End Hotels & Leisure properties (Leisure) 

 

Negotiating Meetings and Events Preferred Partnership (MICE) 

 

Contracting and securing new wholesale group series (FIT) and Adhoc groups series (Wholesale) 

 

Organising Face to Face Sales Activities, discussions, meetings and presentations 

 

Scheduling Sales missions and blitzes and implementation of these activities which are appropriate with the available sales resources to maximise room night production for the portfolio of hotels

 

Providing sales support for visiting hotels with joint sales calls and collaboration 

 

Establishing and servicing an account base including business travel agencies, incentive and conference organisers, corporate clients, TMCs, tourist boards and airlines

 

Maintaining close relationship with GDS suppliers in the region and participate in relevant GDS events

 

Maintaining a close working relationship with preferred agents and MICE organisers with the sole aim of increasing the reach and production for these segments through the implementation of various sales strategies and initiatives for GSA clients

 

Ensuring a complete and relevant database system is maintained and updated constantly within compliance of Australian laws (also within GDPR). Though not shared or forwarded, the appropriate clients will be personally introduced during meetings, client events and engagements

 

Intercity travel to the relevant cities/markets as required by the portfolio / clients

 

Providing feedback on market information, trends and ideas for new business development and to ensure GSA clients maintain a competitive edge

 

Ensuring prompt and consistent follow-ups on sales leads for our clients with a view to materialization of the business

 

Focusing on market trends and represent GSA clients at appropriate conferences and events within the region to maintain awareness and profile and work with individual GSA portfolios in implementing a strategy to market new members within the region
